  15.      This is the first program J.Q.L. released for Windows* on 1st June 1993.
  16.      The program converts weights & measures from one type to another
  17.      automatically and is simplicity itself to use.
  18.  
  19.      Weights & Measures 1.1 was reviewed by PC Plus, issue 84, September 1993,
  20.      who said of Weights & Measures "..you'll find W&M invaluable", and "..W&M
  21.      screen display shows all the units for each mode simultaneously, making it
  22.      extremely easy to switch between the individual measurement systems." and
  23.      "..extremely well crafted and quite useful".  PC Plus gave Weights &
  24.      Measures a 4 out of 5 value rating and had nothing against the program.

  26.      Transend, one of the major UK Shareware vendors said of Weights & Measures
  27.      1.1  "..very useful" and "..it is certainly very easy to use".

  29.      High praise indeed for a first program for Windows*.

  31.      Now in version 2, it is even easier to use, has a completely context
  32.      sensitive Help, more conversions,  is even more accurate than before using,
  33.      where possible, conversion factors correct to a minimum seven decimal
  34.      points!, has 3D and colour which is configurable by the user, the main
  35.      control is a Tool Bar which can be placed anywhere on your screen, and uses
  36.      very little of your Systems resources - only 10% when every single window
  37.      is displayed.

  81.      Pools Plan, works with the new "Jackpot" system, the ordinary pools and
  82.      with the Australian pools.  It requires NO tedious entering of the results
  83.      (as some pools systems require), and is simplicity itself to use.  Pools
  84.      Plan predicts Score Draws, Away Wins and Home Wins simultaneously and gives
  85.      both rankings and percentage chances of a particular result.  The
  86.      percentages and rankings can be printed out or copied to the Windows*
  87.      Clipboard.

  89.      The Help file is context sensitive and there is a "Hint Line" to help you
  90.      at the bottom of the window.  The help file also has information on
  91.      completing your coupon and how to use the information provided by the
  92.      program.

  104.      Windows User can read it?       The Windows Help File.

  106.      The Help Files are not only useful as a reference files, they can be used
  107.      as Tutorials, Reports, Guides, Company Information, Sales Manual, Product
  108.      Manual and many more uses where structured information is used or needs to
  109.      be distributed.  The beauty of the Windows Help File is it doesn't require
  110.      a host program, all Windows Operating Systems have it built in. The maximum
  111.      amount of space is available on your distribution media for the Help File

  120.      J.Q.L.  started in April 1993 to provide low cost professional software for
  121.      the Windows* operating environment. To date, two software packages have
  122.      been released  Weights & Measures and Pools Plan, and five packages are
  123.      under development - Chinese Horoscope, Horseform, JQLFILE (adds more
  124.      functionality to File Manager), Stock Control and Sommilier (a wine
  125.      information program).

  128.      the early '80s and has produced a variety programs for various computer
  129.      systems and operating environments.  These programs included Stock Control,
  130.      Liquor Stock Control, Club Membership, Sales Lead File, Customer File,
  131.      Pools Program, Stocks & Shares (uses the High Low method), Company Checker
  132.      (removes the "massaging" from company reports), among many others.
